Sweet, Bright, and Completely Caffeine-Free.

Sourced from smallholder farms across the Rio Negro and Iquira municipalities of Huila, Colombia, this is specialty decaf at its finest. Huila is Colombia's highest-producing coffee region, enriched by volcanic soils from the Nevado de Huila mountain range, and renowned for producing coffees with bright acidity, balanced body, and natural sweetness. This lot lives up to every bit of that reputation.

Expect a cup layered with notes of grape, apple, mandarin, and caramel. It's vibrant, clean, and satisfying whether you're brewing it as a pour-over at breakfast or pulling it as an espresso in the afternoon.

How It's Decaffeinated

This coffee is processed at the Descafecol plant in Colombia using the Ethyl Acetate (EA) method, one of the most natural and flavour-preserving decaffeination processes available. Ethyl acetate occurs naturally in fruits and sugarcane. Colombian sugarcane is fermented to produce EA, which is then combined with mountain spring water and used to remove the caffeine from the green coffee gently. Because the process avoids high heat and high pressure, the natural terroir character of the coffee is preserved, giving you a decaf that actually tastes like where it came from.

Why You'll Love It

  • Tasting notes of grape, apple, mandarin, and caramel
  • Light roast, bright acidity, and clean sweetness
  • Natural sugarcane EA decaffeination, no harsh chemicals
  • Versatile for both filter brewing and espresso
  • Sourced from multiple smallholder farms in Huila, one of Colombia's most celebrated coffee regions
